Tasting Notes

Straw yellow with greenish highlights. The perlage is fine and constant, with an abundant and persistent crown. The bouquet is open and embraces nuances of sweet and slightly ripe fruit, with subtle hints of vegetables and vanilla. Savoury and complete in the mouth, crisp and vibrant, with a return of the notes perceived in the nose. The finish is long, elegant and harmonious.

Franciacorta Brut DOCG "Grande Cuvée Alma Brut" - Bellavista: Why we like it

Alma Cuvée is the product of the skilful union of about 60 of the 120 harvest selections obtained in the cellar. About 100 selections come from the same harvest and are meticulously identified in 107 land parcels distributed in 10 different municipalities within the Franciacorta production zone ("horizontal blending"). This extensive heritage of different bouquets and palates is joined by the aromas and flavours of particular "reserve wines" from different harvests ("vertical blending"). A unique cuvée which, with its elegant complexity, represents the most complete and often mysterious soul of Franciacorta.
